Paper 3: AGI Spinnors

Category: agi_theory Status: Pre-filesystem foundational work Implementation: agi/agi_being.py

Abstract

AGI Spinnors adapt the mathematical framework of spinors — objects from differential geometry and quantum mechanics that transform under rotations — to model the internal state space of AGI systems. Just as spinors require a 720-degree rotation to return to their original state, AGI Spinnors capture the non-trivial topology of cognitive state transitions.

Theoretical Framework

Spinor formalism applied to AGI provides:

Implementation Notes

The primary implementation lives in agi/agi_being.py, which uses spinor-inspired state representations for the AGI being’s internal cognitive architecture.

Historical Context

This is one of the 13 original Mobley research papers that predate the MASCOM filesystem. Connects Clifford algebra and spinor geometry to AGI state representation.
